「筋膜」是包覆著全身並且質地細緻的結締組織，包覆著肌肉，骨骼，血管，神經。並為人體傳地神經訊號最快的組織！有分為好幾層，我們放鬆的主要是淺筋膜的部分。存在於身體裡面的水分與組織會經由壓力，張力及負重而產生物理性的變化，使身體逐漸不平衡，代謝變差，產生酸痛等等。筋膜放鬆可以用在運動前後，好處是防止沾粘、促進新陳代謝與淋巴流動、增加肌肉柔軟度，改善關節伸展角度、減少肌肉酸痛，徵召肌肉使用等等。這堂課教練會教導同學如何使用工具或是自身的伸展來讓緊繃的肌肉放鬆變得有彈性，才能更把運動做得更好更安全。
